| Tim Tebow Wears Gator Crocs, Pic Posted: 11 Aug 2009 01:37 PM PDT Tim Tebow Wears Gator Crocs, Pic. This my own rebuttal of the “Tim Tebow What’s G” post from earlier today. I felt we needed a little balance. This pic is from the way back machine. I first saw it on Mr. Irrelevant, and it was everywhere last summer. From the guy with the fanny pack in the background, to Tebow wielding a baby with one hand, to the fact that a grown man is wearing blue and orange Crocs, this pic is for to laugh at.

| Tim Tebow “What’s G” Commercial, Keep Hating Haterz Posted: 11 Aug 2009 11:43 AM PDT Tim Tebow “What’s G” Commercial, Keep Hating Haterz. When Gatorade started this ad campaign it sent everyone, that forgot that Gatorade started with a G, into a frenzy. What does G mean? How can I be more G? Do I need to be more G? Some youtuber put the commercial audio to video of the Gators including the best college football QB to ever play. Keep on Hating ya Haterz. I know it is cliche to talk up Tim Tebow, but he is the best and he is still playing, so deal with it. Hat Tip Clay Travis |
| Alabama Fans Have Got To See This, Hokie Cheerleaders Posted: 11 Aug 2009 09:01 AM PDT Alabama Fans Have Got To See This, Hokie Cheerleaders. This pic is something to behold. What are they doing? Why are they doing it? How does this help them get “Ready” for their season opener vs the Alabama Crimson Tide? I will hand it to #26, he has a great vert, but he might have had a helping hand. | Vanderbilt WR Terence Jeffers-Harris Denied Eligibility. Posted: 11 Aug 2009 06:39 AM PDT
In a severe blow to the hopes for the Commodores to return to a bowl game, UConn transfer Terence Jeffers-Harris has been denied eligibility. Jeffers-Harris was one of the shining lights for Vanderbilt during spring practice, but he was hamstrung by academic progress requirements. Credit: Chris Low |
| SEC Football Blogger has a new Co-Editor and Lead Writer, Andrew Rosin Posted: 10 Aug 2009 09:16 PM PDT SEC Football Blogger has a new Co-Editor and Lead Writer, Andrew Rosin. Don’t worry, you are not getting rid of me. I will still be here, but me and Andrew plan on tackling this football season head on. We plan on having fun. We are still gathering interns to write, so drop us an email if you are interested. During the next few weeks, we are going to iron out the wrinkles, so the season will be awesome. Please subscribe and leave comments. Join us on this magic carpet ride. I am very excited about this. The talented Andrew Rosin is best known for his blog The Grand National Championships, and he is well known on Twitter as @TheGNC. ( Follow us both I am @EthanJaynes). I asked Mr. Rosin to write a blurb for our Featured Writers page, and this is what he had to say. “Now, I’m not the man who you’d expect to be a huge fan of the greatest confluence of skill since Ocean’s 11, but when I sat down to take in the second half of a game between Kentucky and LSU. I have to say that I was hooked. A national power taking on a scrappy underdog. And in three overtimes? Kentucky got the win. So I may be a recent convert to the world of Bayou Bengals and World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Parties, but you know that just means I’m ready to spread the word. We’re gonna have some fun here. On a threat level scale? Color me Ed Ogeron. Whoo and whatnot. Andrew Rosin” |
| Alabama fan runs with baby across field to meet Nick Saban, Video Posted: 10 Aug 2009 06:09 PM PDT Alabama fan runs with baby across field to meet Nick Saban, Video. The video admittedly sucks, but the eye witnesses from The Bama Blog put it best. “It really speaks to the level of Alabama fanaticism. If you look closely, you will see the first people to make it to the field for the autograph session is a couple with a baby in the stroller. Eventually, they realized the stroller would keep them from being the first to get Nick Saban’s signature so the adult male scoops up the infant and runs with him to the end zone to greet the Crimson Tide coach. Enjoy.” |
