| Florida International vs Alabama, Prediction Preview 2009 Posted: 12 Sep 2009 09:28 AM PDT Florida International vs Alabama, Prediction Preview 2009. This week Alabama should be able to build some confidence in their offense. They will be facing Florida International at home. Statistically Alabama dominated the game last week against Virginia Tech. They had quite a few costly mistakes though. Hopefully McElroy will be able to look through his progressions this week. It seemed as though against Virginia Tech he never got past looking at his first choice receiver. When that receiver wasn’t open he ran. He did show that he has some fortitude during his runs, but that can be dangerous in the hard-hitting SEC. His passes also seemed pretty easy to read at some points. Hopefully he can work on all of this to become a really great QB. I don’t expect there to be too many surprises in this game. FIU will be playing their first game of the season, and most everyone expects Alabama to win big. I’m thinking about 45-0 for the Tide. I think Alabama will be getting into the endzone a lot more this week leaving less field goal points for Tiffin. |
