Six Hyper-Specific Predictions About the SEC, now that we know something. Posted: 21 Sep 2010 01:51 PM PDT
So we are deep and locked into the season. There are things I was wrong about (Ole Miss is my LSU, LSU is my Ole Miss). There were things I was right about. (Merely a field goal from winning the Arkansas-Georgia game by the exact score.) But as we go into a big week? It’s a time to rest, refresh, and reassess. 1) With a 2-6 record going into November, Ole Miss will end the reign of the right revered Houston Nutt. Dave Rader will be the interim head coach. They will turn to the dread pirate Mike Leach to coach the 2011 Rebels. 2) Now while everybody is going to take a look at Arkansas and Alabama as the game of the year of the week. The game of the SEC for Indie Hipsters to feel self-satisfied about their lives? South Carolina at Auburn. The winner of this game will win the SEC. 3) The team that will feel most proud about their trip to the Poulan Weed Eater Independence Bowl Trip? Tennessee. 4) Will Vanderbilt win three games this year? Yes. In fact. Vanderbilt will get their head above water and be 3-2 at one point this year. Because UConn kind of is terrible this year. 5) Ryan Mallett’s passing totals? 3953 yards 34 touchdowns 9 interceptions. 1 SEC Loss. 6) Florida will lose one SEC game in a shocking manner. The wake up-call all Gators fans will be expecting will be coming, and it will be coming soon! Like this week. I’m saying Randall Cobb 35 Florida 31. http://secfb.neswblogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/cobbpass.jpg |
