| Norwich Will Make It Tough For City! Posted: 13 Apr 2012 05:17 AM PDT Manchester City fans might be thinking that they are well and truly back inthe title race and that a win against Norwich tomorrow will be a simpleformality; although soccer betting tips favourite, the result is nowhere near a formality. But with the way Mancini's men have been playing away recently andthe form and spirit of this current Norwich side City won't be handed anythingon a plate. Norwich went away to White Hart Lane on Monday and picked up all threepoints. Week in week out, Paul Lambert has got his team playing full of beliefand energy at a pace that makes it difficult for any team to play against them,especially at Carrow Road. They will get in the faces of the City players and wont give them a secondon the ball. And with their Premiership status secured, they have nothing tolose and can give City a real game. This is where the mentality of the City players is a big concern and themanager for that matter. Mancini set his team up in a must win game at Arsenallast weekend in what looked like a team that were playing out for a draw ratherthan a win. I can't remember them having a shot and goal and Arsenal hadincredible amounts of possession. That might be Mancini's fault, or perhaps itis the players fault who simply couldn't play under the pressure of needing towin. Either way there needs to be changes in the way they approach this away gametomorrow. City showed that they can go out and play as they put 4 past WestBrom in midweek. They just need to take this mentality into an away game. Theydon't have anything to lose now so the players can play with freedom andMancini should set them up as he does in home games. If they do, they haveevery chance of putting pressure on United until the last game of the season.If not, they might as well kiss their title dream good bye right now! Those wanting to bet on soccer games need to compensate for Lambert's tactical acumen.  |
| Posted: 13 Apr 2012 05:12 AM PDT Man City have put themselves back in the title running with their midweekthrashing of West Brom and Manchester United's slip up against Wigan, and nowthey need to make sure they can turn around their away form if they are to getthemselves even closet to United, and that starts with the trip to Carrow Roadtomorrow! City have dropped far too many points away from home since the turn of theyear; their away form has become a good occasion to bet on soccer games for fans with good soccer betting tips. Whether it is the Italian mentality of Mancini of not wanting to lose thegame, or just a lack of belief from the players who are feeling the pressure atthe top, it needs to change, or else Mancini will be proved right when he say'sthe title has already been lost. If the team go and play Norwich in the right manner and use the same tacticsthat saw them put 4 past West Brom then they will have more than enough forPaul Lamberts men to cope with and they should get the win to put more pressureon United on Sunday. Mancini has to play an attacking team because the pressureis now off and they have nothing to lose which will actually suit the playersbetter. Norwich have been great this season and that is down to their managerinstalling belief and fight into each of his players. This is something thatCity don't have and this is the biggest concern. They have the quality to winNorwich but they wont be any pushovers. They beat Spurs on Monday, which was asurprise to everyone. They will get in the faces of the City stars and wontgive them time on the ball. City need to stand up to this and eventually theytheir quality should shine through. Neither team has anything to lose and so it should make for an excitinggame.  |

Despite Mancini playing down the fact that they are still in with achance of catching United, the matter of the fact is that they do have achance. That chance will only be there however if they can turn around theirpoor away form that saw them lose the lead to United in the first place.Mancini needs to start sending his teams out away from home to win matches, andnow with the pressure off, I'm pretty sure he will do this and the players willperform better. They were hugely disappointing last week atArsenal. It was a must win game for them and they were playing out for thedraw. Sitting back, attracting pressure and lack lustre going forward. In factI wouldn't be surprised if they had a single shot! For a team that has spent so much money, theyshould be doing better against an Arsenal team who barely spent a penny lastsummer. They bounced back with a 4-0 win at West Brom, which was better, andthey will have to repeat the same performance at Norwich this weekend; something that soccer betting tips suggest they may fail to replicate. It willbe a difficult game, but once again they have too much quality in the squad tolose a game like this. It is just out of the question.
