Chelsea striker Fernando Torres was shown a red card for a second bookable offence for this nothing challenge with Spurs’ Jan Vertonghen. The pair had clashed at various points throughout the game, and Torres was lucky to still be on the pitch, but the sending off was harsh when it came.
